“Why do you like vinyl?” How many times have you been asked this question by friends and family? Invariably, the answers are almost the same every time: it sounds better, you can’t get some of this stuff on CD, I like to hold a physical product, the liner notes, and of course the artwork. Most of us vinyl junkies dig on the artwork almost as much as the music. But, did you know that records didn’t always have artwork on the cover? For years they just came in plain brown jackets.
