In the shadow of the MURDER of George Floyd (please stop calling it a “death while in police custody”) spinning funky feel good records just didn’t sound appealing at all. This episode is going to sound a lot different. It’s ballads front to back, and frankly it felt downright therapeutic to record. Hopefully you can find even a little bit of comfort in these tracks. Justice For George Floyd Fundraiser

George Floyd was an unarmed black man murdered in slow motion by 4 on-duty members of our city’s police department on Monday.  They did it in broad daylight in front of a small crowd of people recording the entire thing while begging the officers to stop.  None of the 4 murders have been arrested.

 

His brother started a GoFundMe to to cover “funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, and to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for George.”  We’re running a 40% off sale on our webstore for the next week and all of the income generated will be donated to that GoFundMe.
